Texas Hold’em Poker. A Short Course

Basic rules

Dealer Button

The button determines the order of play. This is a special token that is passed from player to player clockwise before each hand. Player to the left of the button is always the first word in each betting round. It is logical that the player sitting directly in front of the button, makes his move last. This player has a huge advantage, because he sees and evaluates the moves of other players before making his decision.

Blinds

Once the players are dealt their hole cards, rates start at blind (blinds). This is a small forced bets that ensure that every deal initially includes the bank, which is worth fighting for.
